Another food festival? Oh go on then.

Regional Flavours

Sunshine State on a Plate – yes we’re in!

If you have no idea what we are talking about, don’t worry, as there is still plenty of time to plan your trip to Brisbane for Queensland’s annual premier food and wine event, Regional Flavours. Happening on the 21st and 22nd July in the picturesque South Bank Parklands precinct of Brissy – this foodie bonanza features samples of regional Queensland’s best produce, with a host of great guest chefs plus live music and entertainment.

We were super excited to read that some of our favourite local producers from our own backyard were making an appearance, such as Cooloola Berries, Lindols Macadamias (if you haven’t tried their lemon myrtle nuts you are definitely missing out!), Ugly Duck Preserves and Woombye Cheese. Plus so many other amazing producers from regions of Queensland that we don’t get to visit as often.

In terms of celebrity chefs, you will also not be disappointed here. As well as the Sunny Coast’s own Matt Golinski, we have Masterchef judges Matt, George and Gary – as well as the spectacular cake queen Katherine Sabbath and The Farm’s Darren Robertson. It sounds like a pretty great line-up and our taste buds are dancing just thinking about it!

There will inspiration from all over Queensland so be sure to check out the Queensland Taste Marketplace directory to help make the most out of your weekend. If that’s not enough temptation, there are also prizes to be won in the shape of gastronomical getaways to some of Queensland’s best foodie regions.

Our buses range in size from 13 to 57 seats, so we have bus hire options for groups of all sizes – and are happy to provide a quote for groups planning to visit Regional Flavours for a day or for the weekend.
